Set in Gap Bend, Pennsylvania, the story follows twelve-year-old McKinley O'Dair, who eagerly anticipates the annual Time Hop celebration, a unique event honoring a specific year in history. This year’s theme is 1993, and McKinley is excited to showcase her self-designed '90s outfit in the fashion show. However, as the event unfolds, she faces unexpected challenges that threaten her plans, highlighting her journey through personal growth amidst the ups and downs of her life.
