The study explores the impact of psychosocial factors, specifically educational qualification and age, on sociocultural practices like female genital mutilation (FGM) and women's inheritance rights in Oruk Anam, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. Through a descriptive survey involving 392 respondents, it reveals that both educational background and age significantly shape women's perceptions regarding FGM and inheritance. The findings highlight the crucial role of education and age in influencing attitudes toward these practices, emphasizing their importance in addressing sociocultural issues in the region.
