AN APPROACH TO THE HISTORICAL ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY OF MICHOACAN

Focusing on the Late Postclassical period of the Tarasco State, this work explores the interplay between geography, economics, and history during a time of significant conflict with the Mexicas. It highlights the territorial dynamics shaped by the Tarascan State's expansionist wars and the diverse cultural interactions that ensued. The author employs a multidisciplinary approach, integrating economic history, human geography, and other social sciences to provide a comprehensive understanding of the region's historical-economic geography.
