A crop duster veers off course and crashes into a historic ruin; an abandoned railway station located outside of an agricultural town in the cotton belt of the American southwest. The two homeless men who have taken shelter inside do not survive and a cover-up follows, which reveals other consequences to the citizens of Terminus, including a network of financial and ecological corruption.
