In diesem Buch werden die drei Kleinwasserkraftwerke der Firma Roto-Frank, aus technischer und wirtschaftlicher Sicht, betrachtet und mithilfe von Bestandsaufnahmen vor Ort bewertet. Die Kraftwerke befinden sich im „Mühlgang-Rechts" im Bezirk Feldkirchen bzw. Kalsdorf bei Graz. Die daraus gewonnene Energie deckt einen nennenswerten Teil des Strombedarfs der Firma Roto-Frank Kalsdorf ab. Neben der theoretischen Potentialanalyse, fanden eine Bestandsaufnahme des Gewässers sowie eine Bestandsaufnahme der drei Wasserkraftwerke statt. Mithilfe der gewonnen Daten wurde die momentane Situation der Kraftwerke aus technischer Sicht dargestellt und Rückschlüsse auf die Wirkungsgrade der Anlagen getroffen. Ebenfalls wurde das Thema Eigenstromproduktion aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht betrachtet, dabei wurden die Kosten für den Fremdstrom ermittelt sowie Daten bezüglich der Eigenstromproduktion gesammelt, um die Erträge durch diese darzustellen. Mit diesen Daten wurde die wirtschaftliche Situation der Eigenstromproduktion durch die Wasserkraftwerke dargestellt.
