Set against the backdrop of post-Taliban Afghanistan, the narrative follows Amir, an Afghan Army officer, as he battles the resurgent Taliban alongside international forces. After a devastating ambush that claims the lives of his comrades, Amir confronts a senior officer, resulting in his arrest for alleged Taliban sympathies. With the help of a US Marine adviser, he is acquitted, but faces distrust within the Afghan military. Seeking to prove himself, Amir transfers to Special Forces, where he takes command of his own team, navigating the complexities of loyalty and leadership in a fractured country.
