Son existence est également jalonnée de séjours en sanatorium, en prison et à l'hôpital, expériences qui nourrissent sa création poétique. Bien que quelques poèmes aient été publiés dans le passé, cette œuvre poétique pourrait être sa contribution fondamentale. Du symbolisme de ses débuts aux récits poignants sur la prostitution et la lutte contre le cancer, ses poèmes racontent une vie avec une profondeur unique, abordant des thèmes tels que l'amour, le sexe, la maladie et la maternité, révélant ainsi une beauté singulière.

L'auteur considère ce texte non comme un roman mais comme un canevas, c'est-à-dire une toile sur laquelle d'autres, s'ils le souhaitent, peuvent broder et construire.
