Professor John Githiga is the Patriarch of All Nations Christian Church International, an association of churches and ministries with a global presence. He is also the founder, Chancellor, and CEO of ANCCI University, which is interdenominational and international. His previous roles include Chaplain and faculty member at West Texas A&M University, where he taught Biblical studies and served as President of United Campus Ministries. He has also been a chaplain and lecturer at Grambling State University, teaching Swahili and African philosophy, and initiating the KWANZA celebration. Additionally, he taught at Pensacola Junior College in the Humanities department and led the Department of Pastoral Theology at St. Paul's University in Kenya, focusing on pastoral theology and its human context. Githiga founded the African Association for Pastoral Study and Counselling and presided over a Congress on Pastoral Studies in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His educational background includes degrees from Church Army College, St. Paul's United Theological College, Makerere University, the University of the South, Vanderbilt University, and the International Bible Institute and Seminary, culminating in various theological diplomas and degrees. He has been recognized in the 2008-2009 edition of Madison Who's Who for his significant contributions to the business community.
