Hrdinkou románu je mladá dívka, studentka Dominika, kterou její přítel seznámí se svým strýcem Lucem. To, co je pro oba na začátku jen nezávazný flirt, se postupně mění v hluboký cit, který ale ani jeden z nich nechce otevřeně přiznat.
