This tutorial presents a brief survey of semidifferentials in the familiar context of finite-dimensional Euclidean space. The main focus is on Hadamard semidifferentials. The Hadamard semidifferential is more general than the Fréchet differential, which is now dominant in undergraduate mathematics education.
