Nevěděla jsem o čem příběh je, neviděla jsem ani filmy, takže jsem opravdu do toho šla s čistým štítem a doufala jsem, že mě král hororu posadí na zadek. Bohužel se tak nestalo. Možná to bylo příliš vysokým očekáváním, možná jsem od toho měla jiné představy, ale prostě mi to nesedlo. Začátek mi přijde zbytečně zdlouhavý. Často jsem se přistihla, jak myšlenkami utíkám jinam a nesoustředím se na text, takže mě kniha nedokázala udržet. Musím se ale přiznat, že navzdory tomu, že mi ta kniha nepřišla děsivá, tak jsem asi dvě noci po sobě měla noční můry, takže nějakou reakci v mém mozku to asi vyvovalo. Každopádně nejlepší část knihy je asi posledních padesát stránek. Bum, bum, bum, je to úplně natřískaný tím nejlepším, co ze sebe mohl King dostat a mě mrzí, že taková není celá kniha. Rozhodně to s ním ale nezvdávám, je možný, že to byl jen špatný výběr příběhu a jiný mě třeba osloví víc.

Veliké očekávání - je to přece King! Bohužel i zklamaní. Kniha jako celek mě moc nebavila, ale četla se i přesto svižně. Bavila mě až na konci, to i musím říct, že jsem se v domě začala i bát. Škoda že tak nevypadala celá kniha. Úplně nevím, zda si další knihu od Kinga koupím.
Napínavý kvalitní horor!
Klasika, kterou by si měl přečíst každý.
Postupné stupňování děje. Naprostá bomba není co vytknout.
Výborný horor. I kdyz už starší, stale se dobře čte a výborně napsaný.
