Nudging Nyame

A near miss with an interstellar body alters an asteroid's orbit, threatening Earth within a decade. In response, nations collaborate to deflect the asteroid using nuclear-thermal rockets. However, a U.S. intelligence operative manipulates the deflection system, turning the asteroid into a potential weapon of mass destruction. As panic spreads and international cooperation falters, a brilliant Black astrophysicist attempts to intervene but fails. Tensions escalate, culminating in a Russian shakedown that intensifies the impending threat of impact.
