Set in the early 1970s, America's Soul tells of a south Denver high school that will undergo seismic changes as it attempts to adjust to the Supreme Court ruling demanding that the district desegregate by the use of busing. America's Soul follows two young teachers and their strict principal as the school enters into uncharted territory. It is the students of Denver that face the greatest challenges as the entire city must decide how to travel on this precarious journey. The heartaches and rewards are present in the same classroom on the same day--just as they are in all classrooms.
