Eleven months after his daughter was born, Dan O'Hare's father had a debilitating stroke that left him in a nursing home for three and a half years. Shortly after his father's death, Dan began struggling with anxiety, guilt, and grief. In a misguided attempt to keep his father alive and to understand his own mental illness, Dan set out to write down his father's stories and record his relationship with his dad through the lens of the sports that bound them, baseball and lacrosse. What emerged was the story of two strong and flawed lives, an exploration into the mind, and the confrontation of fear.
