This is a collection of poetry that spans across over a decade of mental illness and the struggles of coming to terms with depression, abuse, poor self esteem, and an addiction to self harm. This is by no means a way to glorify or romanticize mental illness, but rather a look into the mind of a survivor during some of the darkest periods of their life. Trigger warning: Some poems contain content that may be sensitive to readers. Some examples are (but not limited to) sexual assault, self harm, panic attacks, and various forms of abuse.
