Meyer Schapiro (23. 9. 1904, Litva – 3. 3. 1996, USA) byl významným americkým historikem a teoretikem umění 20. století. Ve svém díle čerpal nejen od amerických učitelů, ale také od hlavních představitelů vídeňské školy a německých historiků umění.
